Audi has incorporated the name and the genes of the five-time Le Mans winner, the Audi R8, into a spectacular sports car. Three years after the unveiling of the Audi Le Mans quattro concept car, the production version will be making its debut at the Paris Motor Show in the guise of the new Audi R8 mid-engined sports model. It is a fascinating driving machine and the sporty pinnacle of the Audi brand. The mid-mounted 420 bhp V8 FSI engine, quattro permanent four-wheel drive and Audi Space Frame aluminium body form the basis for truly outstanding driving dynamics. The Audi R8 will be available to order from 28 September 2006; first deliveries will be made in the first half of 2007.

The CCX is the latest iteration of the Koenigsegg CC family. The CCX is in many aspects a new car since it has been re-engineered to comply with the US regulation and market demands. Still, it has been a key issue for the Koenigsegg Team to keep the distinctive and record breaking CC shape. We believe it is important to avoid trends and instead hone the aerodynamic shape of the CC range for the future, only enhancing its unique look and appearance with tighter lines and a more aggressive stance. We also believe in continuity. A new Koenigsegg shall show a clear lineage from its predecessor and shall not follow any other design trends – but enhance its already proven concept and shape to perfection.
CCX stands for Competition Coupe X. The CCX commemorates the 10th anniversary of the completion and test drive of the first CC maiden prototype, which rolled out from the R &D Department in 1996.

Unveiled at the 2005 Geneva Auto Show, The Zonda F is one of the fastest supercars ever made. Built using Pagani's extensive experience in carbon fibre construction, the Zonda is leader with regard to fit and finish. With this car, Pagani Automobili is among a small group of independent supercar manufacturers that challenge more established competition such as Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini.
During the outset of the Zonda project, Juan Manuel Fangio consulted and influenced Horacio Pagani on every aspect of the Zonda. Horacio says Fangio had great 'technical sensibility' and was a major source of inspiration for his car. Thus, it should come to no surprise that Pagani's latest work pays tribute to the late Fangio, a world champion five times over.

On the occasion of the next Motor Show in Frankfurt Lamborghini will show for the first time a race version of its highly acclaimed super sports car, the Lamborghini Murcielago. Named Murcielago R-GT, Lamborghini developed the competition car jointly with race experts Reiter Engineering and mother company Audi’s sports division, Audi Sport.

The project began in late 2005 when James purchased Ferrari's flagship Enzo supercar and immediately sent it to Pininfarina's design studio. Critical of the original styling, James requested that Pininfarina rebody his car drawing inspiration from Ferrari's 1960s prototypes of which he owns two magnificent examples. Pininfarina's team, led by Ken Okuyama, responded by saying that they wanted to stay away from retro design and move towards a more forward thinking supercar. No doubt, the two parties have come up with a clever balance.

Like the 350 GTS and the Miura Roadster before it, the Lamborghini "Concept S" is a unique car, an extreme and spectacular expression of the Lamborghini brand.
Created at the Centro Stile Lamborghini in Sant'Agata Bolognese by Luc Donckerwolke, Head of Lamborghini Design, the "Concept S" is his extreme interpretation of an „open car". Using the Gallardo as a basis, Donckerwolke drew inspiration from the classic single-seater racing cars of the past to create this latest design study.

The Swiss Porsche tuner Rinspeed transforms the Porsche Cayman also optically in an more bitingly reptile. The effect-orange color paint exclusively mixed by the German paint manufacturer Lesonal lets the ducked reptile appear to be even more aggressive and dynamic.

The new version of this highly successful super-sports car features considerable innovations in terms of body design and mechanics. And also with a new name: Murci élago LP640, which refers to its engine position - longitudinale posteriore - and to its power 640 hp. Designers and engineers have not only focused on reworking the engine, suspensions, gearbox, exhaust system, brakes and electronics, but also the interior and exterior design; improvements that make the Murciélago LP 640 the most extreme and fastest sports car in its class, placing it at the very top. The first vehicles will be available in spring 2006. Since the original Murciélago’s debut at the 2001 International Car Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, around 2,000 vehicles have left the car plant in Sant’ Agata Bolognese.

With the Abt TT-R Abt Sportsline celebrated the most amazing motor sport victories in the season 2002. Hardly anyone was able to beat the Abt TT-R. In nine of the ten DTM races at least one of the Abt pilots clinched a podium position, and at the end Laurent Aiello won the DTM championship in the yellow Abt TT-R. Therefore it is no wonder that the Abt team from Kempten has a special relationship with “their” TT and it is a fortunate coincidence that the second version of this sporty Audi model just appears on the market when the family enterprise celebrates its 110th company anniversary. At the same time, this happenstance means a challenge for Abt Sportsline - a challenge the team from Kempten meets by enhancing this exceptional sports car.
